Snow falls from the sky: dry, singular very cold flakes. The kind of flakes that don't stick, but blow, reddening cheeks and fingers, blinding vision temporarily. Creating white, creating squeaky walking sounds, clarifying landscapes, equalizing the visual fields. All becomes connected in a pristine beauty that is gorgeous yet challenging to contend with. Time stops for awhile as the snow commands our attention.
We are so fortunate to have this natural element organizing us: away from the everyday momentum into the rhythm of the elemental world, where the questions and the answers, the path to follow is consistently clear, sane, evident ,though mysterious. It is always with us. We are so fortunate.
I turn to nature again and again and always again for the wisdom and steadiness and perspective that she provides. I have developed a movement form I call "Movements for Our World" , which is a combination of Authentic Movement and Systemic Constellations. Recently, in this group, we spent two weeks moving a constellation for the Earth, opening to the mystery to move whatever she needed, or conversely, whatever she wanted to impart. One of the major unerstandings that came through was the vastness of her mystery, the endless possibilities and connections, interweavings, both understood and beyond compehension, along with an ancientness weaving into eternity as well as a weaving into the future with equal flow.
Enormous perspective, enormous presence and wisdom. With us all the time. All the time.
I am offering a Family Constellation Workshop on March 22 from 1-5 in Montpelier. Details can be found on my website under the Events section. You can RSVP through that or directly to me.
As always, feel free to ask any questions, and to pass along the information to anyone you think might benefit. The work is a clear vehicle for opening the way for entanglements to shift and love to flow. jansandman@comcast.net (802) 522-5032
Perhaps we will see each other soon.
Love,
Jan
